Refund policy

Here at Koakoa Design, many products are handmade.  Variations and handmadedness are what to expect e hoa mā.  But we do really want you to be satisfied with your purchase!

If you're unhappy with a product please let us know.  If the product is faulty we're so sorry and will gladly replace it or refund you.

Ka aroha, consumer law in New Zealand does not require retailers to refund goods if customers change their minds.

 

TIMING

For return and refund enquiries please email Lisa at hello@koakoadesign.co.nz within 7 days of receiving your order.

 

ELIGIBIILTY

To be eligible for a return/exchange, your item must be returned unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must be in the original packaging, and we require an exchange card or proof of purchase. 

Damaged merchandise will not be accepted for exchange, return or refund.

 

RETURNS

Please send an email to hello@koakoadesign.co.nz and let us know you are returning an product. 

Return Shipping

To return your product, you should mail your product to: Koakoa Design Ltd, P O Box 10122, AUK, Auckland, New Zealand

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

 

REFUNDS (if applicable)

Once your return is received, we will send you an email to notify you of that receipt. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund as per the eligibility criteria noted above.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.  Such refund will be at the same price as the original purchase.

 

EXCHANGES (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at hello@koakoadesign.co.nz and send your item to: Koakoa Design Ltd, P O Box 10122, AUK, Auckland , New Zealand.
