Introducing the Makers - Itsy Bitsy Baby Gear

Another day, another talented maker to introduce you to.  The Koakoa Design gift boxes (coming soon) draw on the creative talents of small businesses, artisans and craftspeople based in New Zealand and around the Pacific.

Many handmade businesses are doing a fantastic job reducing waste, focusing on sustainability.  And where better to make a difference than in the huge māmā and baby industry.

I chose some items from Itsy Bitsy Baby Gear.  These pads contribute positively to the mum and bub area by reducing reliance on disposable products.  These stylish, functional and eco-friendly goodies will be available in some māmā packs coming to Koakoa Design soon.

I'll let the wahine behind the brand tell you more -

Itsy Bitsy Baby Gear started as a hobby after Letitia was surprised to find out she was expecting her third baby.

After friends and whanau started ordering and placing orders for new items, it quickly went from hobby to business and steadily grew and became the well loved brand it is today.

With both Baby and Mum in mind, Itsy Bitsy create products that are both trendy and functional as well as eco-friendly.  And everything is handmade and designed in Wellington, New Zealand by Letitia herself.

Custom orders and collaborations are always welcomed at Itsy Bitsy Baby Gear.
